"Home" Aromatherapy For Animals

aromatherapy aromatheraphy

Colon health is a major concern for people today, but what about our domestic dogs?

Please read the article Canine Colon Health and Parasites"

Here are some Natural alternatives (containing essential oils) to dangerous, synthetic chemical wormers perscribed by most veterinarians:

Comfortone
Anti-Parasitic and Colon Cleaner

ComforTone contains diatomaceous earth and bentonite, which help the whole formula to hold the oils against the wall of the colon because parasites burrow into the mucosa lining in the colon wall and lay their eggs. Then as the eggs hatch they come back out into the fluid because they travel in the fluid. If you are feeding your dog's black walnut you can kill the parasites that are traveling in the fluid, but it will NOT get to the larva (or the egg) in that mucosa wall..If you feed a processed/cooked diet most likely, there is a hard mucous and toxic waste that has hardened in the colon wall. The essential oils in Comfortone are held by the bentonite against the wall and can then be absorbed through the mucosa wall into where the eggs are located and kill the eggs.

Comfortone is designed with herbs for going in and picking up toxic waste that has lodged along the colon wall and for colon cleanser. The advanced mix of pure essential oils support normal peristalsis (the wave-like contractions that move food through the intestines), ComforTone is designed specifically for supporting colon function. Waste products and gases in the colon may have a high concentration of toxins that may leach into the organs and tissues.

Ingredients: German chamomile flowers, cascara sagrada, bentonite, diatomaceous earth, psyllium seed, fennel seed, burdock root, garlic, barberry root bark, (echinacea purpurea) root, ginger root, apple pectin, licorice root, cayenne pepper, the essential oils of rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis CT 1,8 cineol), tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus), peppermint (Mentha piperita), ginger (Zingiber officinale), anise (Pimpinella anisum), mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), tangerine (Citrus nobilis), German chamomile (Matricaria recutita) and gelatin.

Di-Gize for Digestive Problems
(and internal parasites)

Di-Gize™ is a blend of essential oils that can be given on your dog's food as a dietary supplement that provides valuable aid for digestive concerns. Use it to help relieve a sour or upset stomach, * It also alleviate the symptoms of IBS, morning sickness in pregnant bitches, vomiting and motion sickness for those dogs who are not comfortable traveling.

In addition to this blend's great properties to relive digestive upsets, it is being used as a natural heartworm preventitive and treatement! You can read more about it HERE along with some other great natural remedies for Heart worm prevention and treatment.

Most veterinarians (that are not holistic practioners) will recommend giving a daily or monthly pill to prevent heartworms, but in actuality you're not preventing them; you are administering the cure on a regular basis. This cure for heartworm is toxic. It contains a chemical insecticide. The chemicals are capable of causing disease. The dosage is much smaller than the actual treatment, but when it's administered month after month, the toxic side-effects become a serious health risk. Side effects listed for heartworm preventative drugs are: vomiting, diarrhea, convulsions, and weakness. These pills weaken your pet's immune system which recognizes the chemicals as poison. The body works hard to eliminate the toxins and major organs, like the liver and kidneys, are taxed. For this reason, the pet's body is not able to handle contact with the normal bacterial or viral substances in our world, so it gets sick more easily. Part of the veterinary industry has acknowledged these dangers. These "alternative vets" are open to natural, safe and effective alternatives. Many of these vets believe that the long-term use of heartworm prevention drugs are a link in the chain of diseases such as arthritis, liver and kidney diseases, skin allergies, and many types of cancers.

The use of essential oils is much safer for your dogs and in most cases just as effective.

TESTIMONIES I can’t say enough about Di-Gize (formerly Di-Tone) essential oil blend by Young Living. I mix it daily in my dog's and cat's food to prevent internal parasites as well as digestive problems. I have had heartworm positive dogs test negetaive after daily use in 6 months time! I also use all the supplements on a regular basis as well to maintain healthy blood. The healthier the blood, the worse it tastes to parasites!
Leigh Foster http://www.fosters-forum.com/

My dog was having digestive problems and would sometimes vomit her breakfast back up within a several hours of eating. Her bowels were fine. Our vet thought IBS at first and even did a scope and biopsy but could not find any problem except that her stomach and bowels were just a bit irratated and inflamed. I began adding Di-Guise to her morning meal and within a couple of days she was keeping her food down. She was not crazy about the smell or taste at first but was hungry enough to finally eat. Now she eats her food with gusto and no more stomach problems! Thanks for recommending this product to me.
