These are two tasty foods that combine the wholesomeness of a home made diet with the convenience of an easy-to-prepare, scientifically balanced blend. Perfect to feed alone, or ideal as the base for a Raw or other home made diet. These diets are also excellent for travel and emergency preparedness.

All our foods are formulated to meet the AAFCO nutrient profiles for adult maintenance (EMBARK is formulated to meet the protien needs of puppies and active adults)and you don't have to add anything to make them 'complete'. However, the original idea behind these diets was as a base for a raw or other home made diet and to facilitate that, they are somewhat 'lite' in terms of fat and protein, so that your own choice of raw, or cooked, meat can be added, if desired.


The Honest Kitchen Foods are made with real, human food-grade ingredients that have been gently dehydrated (to preserve foods without chemicals or heat damage to nutrients)  to remove only the water. All other nutrients remain and become highly concentrated. Our foods are not cooked, extruded or heat processed in any way.

No cooking required! Simply hydrate with warm water, and in just ten minutes, a wholesome, colorful meal that is loaded with naturally occurring, wholesome nutrition, is ready to serve. Additional raw meat and bones or cooked meat can be mixed in, if desired, without disrupting critical nutrient values.

The Honest Kitchen Foods are completely free of all chemicals, by-products, fillers, wheat, corn, soy, rice and beet pulp. Verve is also dairy-free and Force & Embark are entirely free of grains.

Force is our delicious offering for dogs who are intolerant of grains. This food is made from 100% human food grade chicken, organic flaxseed, potatoes, celery, cabbage, sweet potatoes, zucchini, green beans, apples, honey, alfalfa, kelp, yogurt, bananas, papayas, basil, garlic, rosemary, vitamins and minerals.

Preparation No cooking required! Each 4 oz cup of Force should simply be hydrated with 1.25 to 1.5 cups of pure, warm, filtered or tap water, or boiled water that has been allowed to cool.
It is best not to add boiling water directly to Force as this will destroy many of the enzymes & nutrients present.

Add the water to the food and stir well. The product will initially resemble soup. Let stand for 10 minutes minimum, for the ingredients to rehydrate sufficiently. Add your own raw meat, meaty bones, cooked meat or other ingredients, if you wish. Please scroll down, to view feeding guidelines.

Feeding Guidelines (All foods) The following daily amounts (DRY quantity) should be adjusted to suit your individual dog's requirements, which vary according to age, breed and level of daily activity.

Up to 10 lbs....................................1/2 Cup

Up to 30 lbs.................................... 1 Cup

Up to 50 lbs.................................... 2 Cups

Up to 70 lbs.................................... 2 1/4 Cups

Up to 90 lbs.................................... 2 3/4 Cups

Packaging
Our foods are sold in a transparent, tamper-evident, hinged-lid container that snaps shut between uses to fully protect the contents. Our containers are fully recyclable or re-usable in the home and have convenient carry-handles. Refill bags are now available!
