Doctor of Veterinary Naturopathy, Certified Small Animal Nutritionist and Natural Animal Health Care Consultant
My desire and mission in my consulting services is to help you help your bird to achieve an enriched life with optimal health and nutrition thereby giving your pets a longer healthier life naturally.
Why Have A Consultation?
* Do you question if your bird's nutrition is adequate?
* Does your bird have physical or emotional problems that you would like to address with alternative therapies but you don't know where to start?
* Looking for natural products but are a little confused by the huge variety on the market?
* Have a new baby bird that you want to start out on the "right foot"?
* Would you like to discuss complementary wellness techniques, nutrition and health issues regarding your pet?
* To discuss your bird's symptoms that concern you
* To learn of possible alternative therapies when facing a major health decision for your pet
Birds have specific nutritional needs and the needs of individual birds will vary. With the proper nutrition and care, our companion parrots can live longer and happier lives.
The health of our avian companions is just as important to me as it is to you. My mission is to help my clients learn about their bird's needs regarding nutrition and care, helping them achieve balance and maintaining or restoring good health. With my years of academic studies, experience and research, I will take the guesswork out of any aspect of bird care for you.
Poor nutrition is a direct cause of the many problems our captive birds suffer - allergies, unhealthy skin and feathers, cancer, etc. The good news is that you can protect your precious companion.
Whether your companion bird's are currently healthy and you'd like to see them stay that way, or you are facing a challenge with your bird, such as feather chewing or plucking, allergies or obesity, I would love to assist you in making the best possible life choices for your feathered friend.
Dr. Jeannie is educated in natural, preventive health care as well as avian nutrition. Consultations via email - ($100.00)
I am currently not doing phone consults as my clients have found that having everything in writting is easier to refer to when they forget something or just want reassurance they are on the track.
Email consultations are a two way platform where you have everything in a written record to refer to. Often this is the best form of consultation for your money. Depending on the case, most email consultations are on going and the first follow-up is included in the price.
Please download the health history intake questionnaire HERE and then, scan and email the completed form back to me and I will contact you with a paypal request and we will begin the individual consultation for your bird.
I look forward to helping you help your feathered companion live a longer, healthier life.
